Dear Friend,
One month from today, I’ll have the privilege of speaking to twelve thousand young people ages eighteen to twenty-five who will gather at Cross Con 2026 in Louisville, Kentucky. They’ll come together from many distant points across the country to proclaim the name of Jesus and encourage one another to make their lives count by making Jesus known.
Just a few years ago, this conference drew an audience of only half this size. According to nearly all studies that track faith in Jesus across America, Gen Z’s rising interest in Christianity has been the most notable recent trend.
God is moving. His Spirit is stirring a new generation that is hungry for truth, eager to evangelize, and anxious to unite together.
One of the visible evidences of this is seen on college campuses, where students are turning in large numbers away from the empty lies they’ve been fed by our culture and to the truth and hope of the Gospel.
I look ahead with a great sense of optimism. Our teaching is already distributed in channels popular among young adults, such as Instagram, Apple and Spotify podcasts, YouTube, and even TikTok, so that teaching about Jesus from Truth For Life is easy for everyone, including young people, to find.
The opportunities before us to help further equip this new generation of believers through Truth For Life are vast. Our prayer as we come into this new year is for God to open doors for our teaching to encourage young adults growing in their faith and inspire those who have yet to meet Jesus to come to know Him.
