Day 1: God’s Call to Noah
Scripture: Genesis 6:9-10
As we embark on this journey through the account of Noah and the ark, let us first reflect on Noah’s faithfulness in answering God’s call. In a world filled with wickedness and corruption, Noah stood out as a righteous man who walked faithfully with God.
Take a moment today to consider Noah’s character. Despite living in a society that rejected God’s ways, Noah remained obedient and faithful. He trusted in God’s promises, even when they seemed impossible. Noah’s example challenges us to live counter-culturally, standing firm in our faith and obedience to God’s Word.
Let us remember that God’s call may sometimes lead us down unconventional paths. Like Noah, we may face opposition and ridicule from those around us. Yet, when we trust in God’s promises and follow His leading, He will always provide a way forward.
Let us pray: Heavenly Father, thank You for the example of Noah’s faithfulness. Give us the courage to follow Your call, even when it leads us into unfamiliar territory. Help us to trust in Your promises and walk faithfully with You all the days of our lives. Amen.
