Many exciting initiatives are underway this year at Truth For Life!
We thought you may be interested in hearing about some of the many efforts being made possible by your giving and prayer this year. In particular, the month-by-month giving from Truthpartners is essential to all we do, because it provides a consistent source of support that enables us to make investments in areas like pastoral training, translation, Bible-teaching content creation, and, of course, the distribution of our daily program.
Did you know that last year, we had three million unique visitors learning from our website? You might never guess that less than 1% of that number represents our Truthpartner team. Truthpartners are a small, vitally important team that makes Alistair’s teaching available to you and a growing global audience.
As we approach the midpoint of the year, below is a list of key initiatives that we hope will spur you to join the “small but mighty” Truthpartner team. Your giving will be used to encourage pastors and bring God’s Word to people across the nations.
Pastoral Training
In April, we hosted forty pastors for a free one-day conference during which Alistair encouraged those attending to faithfully teach God’s Word with courage and conviction.
Also, in May, Alistair spoke at pastors’ conferences in the Netherlands, Croatia, and Albania.
Bible Teaching
The book Name above All Names was made available as a free e-book in April. We have found that offering free e-books is a great way to introduce new audiences to the teaching from Truth For Life. More than thirty thousand people from around the world downloaded the e-book from 197 countries! We are excited to offer two more free e-books later this year. Keep an eye out, and please share the links with friends!
Before the year ends, we aim to release ten new study guides.
Eight new multiday reading plans will be made available before year-end.
The new study in the book of John, titled “Truly, Truly, I Say to You…”, is available online through the website and mobile app.
Two new books from Alistair will be released: a children’s book in September and an Advent devotional in November. Keep an eye open for these new titles!
International Distribution
Our global translation partners continue to make significant progress translating books and articles by Alistair into their countries’ languages. There are currently eighty-six projects underway to translate our teaching into languages such as Arabic, Farsi, Vietnamese, Hindi, and Chinese, just to name a few.
This year, ten thousand translated books will be distributed at sixteen conferences globally in seven different languages.
Each month, people in more than 195 countries are invited to download teaching for free from Truth For Life. This includes free audio series, free multiday reading plans, and free digital study guides. This year, more than 20,500 people have responded to these offers.
Daily Program
The daily program can be heard an average of 75,000 times per month through 1,884 radio outlets.
